Being an ecological and reflective artist

I am an accomplished professional whose work has evolved over the years. I trained as a printmaker but now I am a painter but I am always reflecting on past practice and rather than investing in new resources I adapt and recreate old pieces of work to fit my current practice rather than letting them sit in a draw for posterity. 

I live in a beautiful area of the world- the Dorset AONB- where Nature is recovering. I aim to bring this landscape and coast to life in my work. 

I am also passionate in restoring wildlife habitats and so I have worked closely with wildlife charities and organic farms- RSPB, Woodland Trust and Hollis Mead Organic Dairy.
